I like everything about it - except the tires and wheels. What are they? 24’s? 26’s?

Full disclosure - I don’t like ginormous wheels and rubber band tires on anything . I’m strictly old school. If I can’t get raised white letters, they’re too big. (On a hot rod style car, anyway. I fully recognize RWL would probably not look right on a BMW or a Ferrari .) I agree with Farscythe though - this one needs whitewalls.

Gonna be pretty bright . Likely will pull focu s away from where you really want it and mess with the soundstage in an undesirable way , if you care about such things. Generally advisable to just have a single pair of tweeters up front and mids/woofers/fullrange type drivers elsewhere.

Where are they going? What vehicle/install location ?

1986 BMW 325es. 2 in the front kick panels, pointed towards my feet. 2 in the parcel shelf pointed towards the roof. I wasn’t about to start cutting holes into the car just for the sake of sound.

No need to cut. If you care about sq at all, stuff the coaxials in the front kicks and return the other pair of coaxials and grab a pair of Daytons from Parts-express without t he tweeters built in. Just a straight set of woofers   or fullranges in the rear, i nstead of the 2-ways. That one cheap and simple change will probably save you dough and sound better in the end.

Canadian Tire parking lots are the true car person’s cars n coffee. I’ve seen just about everything in one. GTRs, resto mods, crown Victoria rat rods, everything.

Yeah those wheels are not doing what the rest of the car is doing extremely well. So out of place.
